I love the rain

I went to the doctor's yesterday. It was raining heavily as I was waiting for the LRT to come. You have to admit that rain adds a certain sense of nostalgia to a place. When it's raining, everything becomes so peaceful and calm. The cool wind helps too. Maybe because the Maluri platform has lots of trees and stuff. When it's raining, and you look towards the track, it's like you're in some distant place in the Far East. And you're waiting for a coal-driven train to take you back to your hometown, where you'll give out a sigh of relief when you see that familiar train station coming towards you. And as soon as you step out of the train, you'll take in a deep breath of refreshing air and say out loud to yourself "I'm home." Then, you'll go to your favourite place to drink, and catch up with your schoolfriends.

I have no idea what's gotten into me.

It's on fire O_O.

We went to Wee Kiat's BBQ party on Saturday. A birthday party of sorts, since Wee Kiat's, Kit's and Kum Hon's birthday were all near each other. So Wee Kiat invited all of us for a birthday bash. As usual PSG was there again. As the Olympic Athletes light the fire, so does PSG start the BBQ fire. Kit came and picked me up at 6. We reached at about 7. The sky was kinda dark when we arrived though, but after settling down for a few minutes, Wee Kiat asked us to start the fire. We still got to rest a bit though, because Pinky (I..don't know how to spell her full name anymore XD) just went out to get firestarters.

After we got the firestarters, we started what we came to do =P. There were 2 grills. Kit, Tat and I took one side and Mun Fai and Harrison took the other. Fai was using the fan to get the charcoals on fire. The modern, cheating way, if you will.We were using the traditional way. Newspapers and self created wind, not of the variety produced from the behind.

We were getting along quite fine. With our expertise in blowing water, blowing air was a piece of cake. Indeed, our grill was too hot. We actually set the piece of wood under our grill on fire. No ashes or anything, just heat transfer. How's that ? You cheating, modern prats ? XD

After we got the fire going, we all went in for a bit of rest. The others then started preparing the food. The girls also prepared the drinks. There was Syrup water..and something made by Wai Mun. We eventually finished Wai Mun's drink in the end.

We had chicken, beef and mutton. No pork though. Lots of hot dogs. And some Ubi. I forgot the English name. It was all great fun. Kit asked me to try what I learnt in NS on Kit Yeng. It didn't work. I was laughing the whole time though =P

Wee Kiat's mom bought 2 cakes. Thanks auntie =). I didn't eat any though. But the dessert the neighbour gave us was ace ^^. After the party, we went back to PS for some drinks and got back home late.

You'll notice that I don't have a lot of content. That's because I'm too lazy XD. And I didn't take any pictures. Or the whole post would have just been me captioning them XD.

Nights.

It's one of those days.

I woke up late today. But I slept late, so I guess it figures.. We went to watch Benjamin Button at Times Square yesterday. Brian and Yuen Cheng joined us. For the record, Yuen Cheng's a wussy who won't go to Blush xD.

The movie was quite nice. Definitely long O_o. And it was worth it. Mainly because I didn't pay Yuen Cheng back for the tickets. Sadly the drinks at GSC suck. To be more specific , their 100 tambah drinks suck. It's...like a decarbonated drink and sickly sweet. Ugh.

Today wasn't a very good day. Class only started at 11am but we reached around the normal time. Luckily I brought T3 and PC Gamer to read. But I gave up after around an hour. Further Pure tutorial wasn't any better. My teacher was kinda emo because only around 7 people showed up for class. Meh.

Then at 12, I went to the Sports Complex to play badminton with Tat. It wasn't really fun for me. My shirt restricted my movements, I was wearing jeans and I was running around either barefoot or in Crocs. But at least I got to move around. I felt lethargic the whole day. But I was also really, really tired after that heh. Class ended at 4 today..I saw her sitting there in the canteen. She was waiting for someone... I don't really want to know who, because my stomach already had that empty feeling. I didn't talk to her either, it just doesn't work. I'd check my phone to see if she replied me earlier when I smsed her, but I already know what's going to happen. So I'll save myself the trouble =).

One of these days, I'll move on.

BC Gathering

Went out for a British Council gathering on Saturday. Twas at One U. Samuel made it happen. You dah man, man XD

We didn't watch a movie this time. I mean, it was Valentine's Day. It'd be full of lovey-dovey couples. So why should I be there ? To torture myself ? Please, no thanks.

As always, not everybody from the BC Gang could make it. Clarissa had auditions, so she couldn't come. Pui Yee had to study, so we didn't see her either. On the other hand, Li Shen made it O_O.
So, attendees were, Ju Ween, Li Shen, Shiuann, Dao Zhong, Samuel, Jeremy, and me.

In the end, we just walked around the place. Samuel helped his friend buy a teddy bear, and we all sat down at Carls Jr. for some food.

Here, you can see me enthusiastically explaining something. The look on Shiuann's face suggests that what I am saying is most likely perverted, thereby offending her. I assure you, that could not be further from the truth. I was merely saying "I just don't friggin understand why the frig we had to friggin come out on friggin Valentine's Day when I'm friggin single , okay ?"

The one on the left is Li Shen, the one on the right is Ju Ween. Li Shen used to have long hair during the BC days. It's all gone now. You may think she's pretty, but *mumblemumblemumble*

Ju Ween's gotten fairer, I think. They both just came back from the land down under. Li Shen's due back on Monday.

That's Jeremy's fingers. I'd like to take this opportunity to say that Ju Ween already has a boyfriend. And I have confuzzled his name. So I call him "Umn Doi". No he wasn't present that day.
